Literature Text
She was sinking in her solitude
and lost in a false attitude,
a smile plastered across her face
leading to a cold embrace.
Her eyes were wet from unshed tears
as she kept silent all these years
about what she truly desired
and was never able to acquire;
someone to let into her life
without too much strife,
someone who she could trust,
who would show no disgust
for all that she would share;
someone that would always be there.
But instead of letting anyone close,
she turned friends into foes
and kept everyone away
for fear of what they might say.
Or maybe she stayed inert
so she would never again be hurt,
but by not giving anyone a chance,
she lost her opportunity at romance
and a life of happiness and joy
because she was a afraid to destroy
her walls that kept it all locked away,
so in solitude and misery she stayed.

'baby girl, see, I have a heart, too, just like you.'
'baby girl, I know you're afraid of the world, but...'
'baby girl, if I was a kitten, I'd probably be you.'
today at work, I watched gravity in a speck of dust floating in the air. today at work, we had lunch outside, and it started to rain. everyone was panicking and running around and scurrying to get the food and everything inside. I just stood there watching the rain make dots on the pavement. it was so beautiful; I wish

living in your lies
dear girl
its like you dont even know you anymore. and when people talk about you, its almost as if you have no idea who theyre speaking about or whether any of what they say is true. its to the point where you started avoiding mirrors or catching your own eye in the reflection of windows, because you dont even recognize yourself anymore. maybe your hairs a mess and your clothes dont match, but at least you can keep pretending that youre not uncomfortable in your own skin. youve become a stranger and it scares you since youve always been most afraid of the things you don

How to Look in the Mirror

Let your mouth be a mouth, dropping open. Let it smile and contort itself.

The way some people smile makes me believe they are polar bears on melting ice caps and
the rest of them look like a growling monkey, trying to say "I have no weapon," but it is clicking its teeth together instead.

You love her the way she is. If you had her you would never even say "Take your
clothes off". You know she is not beautiful underneath those garments. Her breasts
are drooping. She has a scar on her stomach after having her appendix removed
when she was eight. You would not want to ruin your love for her- begi
