Prompted to Write Contest

"Prompted to Write"

The Goal: Take one of the following prompts and write about it; any style, any form, poetry or prose.

The Prompts

"Footsteps echoing through the watery graves of pillbugs."
~Murder told from the P.O.V. of the murder weapon.
"Ode to her tight black dress, Slit from ankle to creamy white thigh."
"Stuck forever in this fetal pose"
" ... it's Jim's Bait and Tackle Shop, closed for the year."
~Flight P.O.V. (bird, plane, rock, hot air balloon, etc)
" ... put a gun in your mouth and splatter these walls with your brains."
~The intervention of an alcoholic or drug addict.

There will be one overall winner, a runner-up, and a honorable mention.

Prizes will be announced later.

If you wish to donate prizes, please send me a note.  
You can still participate in the contest if you donate a prize.

You can begin when ever you wish, but I will be accpeting entries as of March 16, 2009 and will accept them through April 15, 2009.

This must be an original deviation, not posted before this entry is.
Also, you MUST post a link to the contest info in the author comments along with permission for your piece to be reposted as needed in regards to this contest.

To submit an entry, send me an note with the title "Prompted to write".
In that note include the following:

Your name
Your dA Name
A link to your entry
The title to your entry
Which prompt you chose
Any comments you wish to make.
